Ahem. I'm not sure how I convinced myself the 1.10 code worked; testing again it doesn't work. I just released a 1.11 which does pass your test. (I found the source of the spaces; before I just attempted to trim them afterwards, but didn't do it late enough -- ie the spaces were being inserted after I "trimmed just in case"). http://www.hashcash.org/binaries/rpms/ http://www.hashcash.org/binaries/rpms/hashcash-1.11-1.i386.rpm Adam On Fri, Oct 01, 2004 at 08:29:18PM -0400, Atom 'Smasher' wrote: > got the new version loaded: > > $ hashcash -v > Version: hashcash-1.10 > > no spaces: > > $ hashcash -m foo | tr ' ' _ > 1:20:041002:foo::aWSYjhPgD6BpBXLd:0000000000000031uG > > oops! > > $ hashcash -Xm foo | tr ' ' _ > X-Hashcash:_1:20:041002:foo::zT+w7IqhgxADOrh9:000000000000005T0m______ > > spaces are still there if stamps are minted with "-X". wasn't that the > only time they appeared previously? > > > ...atom > > _________________________________________ > PGP key - http://atom.smasher.org/pgp.txt > 762A 3B98 A3C3 96C9 C6B7 582A B88D 52E4 D9F5 7808 > ------------------------------------------------- > > "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth > is a revolutionary act." > -- George Orwell > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.3.6 (FreeBSD) > Comment: What is this gibberish? > Comment: http://atom.smasher.org/links/#digital_signatures > > iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJBXfZlAAoJEAx/d+cTpVciPWcIALFCRwQESYVXS4R9NUZ3iU9N > wk/eEHp60yMswnbfNVLHWAyGgH2+SPcxrWI11I1jBRgIvqDG4dOcw3l1Yqn5oq7x > n44i1e0fWLjadH6ZJWVYWsZVyCyCTzuK1pX69LMvM8ZoMYJlxWGyG3ciHjdvuJTr > 7k7ckVW8ibPRqjJTUUocsVB/GM2xyOBXj0LMk/VgVP0fnilMm5BQeiSO1s13z3bh > 9Ssxg8fwlrjUapgse+ldtdkIHBvv+MgeF5DjDop2LG3eyxK8cfhlb01BuOQN94Zm > LMTcY6JGmfVfgYrasI5yuhnnyCjkD/jm4teLu1VK3pLrVRbJBXjBisZXcU2k9HA= > =gSx1 > -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
