Hi Adam,

this isn't really my or dmose's area, but it seems like kind of a neat 
idea, and I would be willing to help you (or someone else) write the 
patch.

The first step would be to get Thunderbird building, which you should 
be able to do by following the steps at 
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Simple_Thunderbird_build

Please let me know if you run into any problems.
