My nonbinding vote as the spamassassin maintainer for Debian is in favor
of the release.  4.0.2-rc2 is published for Debian 13 and experimental
branches, and I've solicited feedback from the community.  I haven't
heard anything negative at this point.  I've also been using rc2 in my
own environments since the release, with no cause for concern.
