This is also visible in the Debian build logs at
https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=spamassassin&arch=all

Something changed between svn revision 1923525 and 4.0.2-rc1 that caused the
build time (include test execution) to go from <30 minutes to >3 hours.

It doesn't seem to be impacting actual runtime, at least in my installation
using Berkeley DB storage.
