Hello from Cindy!  May I be your penpal?

My name is Cindy and I am from Sweden!  I have always wanted a pen pal, but before now I just never had the opportunity to try to find one.  After I turned 23, I wrote down a list of things that were things I would like most, and having a pen pal was one of them.

Soon after, I began my search for a pen pal that would be interesting and fun to correspond with.  I ran across your entry at a pen pal site a few days ago and decided right away to write you.  I hope you still have the desire for a pen pal.

As I said, I turned 23 recently, June 17th as a matter of fact.  There wasn’t a large celebration, but a few friends and I got together for a few drinks and laughs.  It was lots of fun just sitting with them talking, and being a little silly.  I work in a very busy bank as a cashier, and there is no time to relax or to be funny.  Most of the time I must be very serious when I am working, so when I am with friends it is nice to be a little silly and crazy.

I live with my parents in a city called Malmo in Sweden.  It is located in the Southern coastline of Sweden.  Copenhagen, Denmark is across the bay.  It is a very beautiful place with great people.  Soon I want to travel to other places around the world, so I am saving my money.  I am very interested in meeting people of other countries and learning about their cultures and traditions.

I have 2 sisters, ages 24 and 28.  We are very close and frequently go places and do things together. One of our favorite things to do is play tennis.  From the time I was 10 or 11 years old, we have challenged each other.  They used to win all the games we played then, because they were taller and stronger, but as I got older I actually grew taller than both of them, so now I win my share of the games.

I am 5 feet 10” tall.  It seems people in my country are naturally tall and slim.  In a way it is nice because I can usually eat any foods I like without worrying about getting fat!  Many Swedish people have blond or light colored hair.  It is also true of me.  I have short blond hair and blue eyes.

Sweden has very cold and snowy winters so I have become very good at skiing and ice skating.  I don’t think I would ever want to live anywhere else except in Sweden.  The lifestyle here is very good, there are lots of things to do, and people here are very friendly.
