It fixes two bugs. One was an incorrectly structured except clause. The other handles the case where urlparse.urlparse fails to parse some bogus URLs. I uploaded to PyPI and was able to pip install it on mail.python.org, so despite the fact that it's been ages since I did that, I think I might have done it correctly. Still trying to push the updates to Github though...
