Installing it to another location (even on the same drive -- I installed mine in C:\SpamBayes) made it work.

There's nobody around to do a release.  We have heard reports that the installation on the system disk might be a problem on Windows 7.  Can you try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it on another drive?  If so, let us know if that helps or not.
