can't even get started with configure

The software errors out on the SMTP section with a claim that I entered “none”. I’ve tried to fill in file paths but it reports them as illegal. [in other words I can’t get out of the starting gate] I’ve tried to search the FAQs but nothing seems to address “configure” Tom Schultz [email protected] PS: computer is running windows 7 with the free AVG and the email is LiveMail.
