If you are using the Pop3Proxy web interface, it is easily changed as 
the last option on the Advanced Configuration page allows you to set the 
desired language.  I have en_US.

However, if you are using the Outlook plugin (which I don't), the

That's really the opposite of what you are asking, but should give you 
the clues as to what needs changing.
