Crossposting will probably get you nowhere. Most likely less than nowhere.
It is not an accepted practice in any newsgroup.

Also, posting a long message with lots of minutia will also get you
nowhere My guess is you should have first posted a question in "geeks" and
only then, when asked, posted all the other stuff.
