I believe it was "more stable" and "crashes less often".  Not "stable"
and "doesn't crash".

Yes, my XP systems have only bluescreened several times over a few years,
but they have crashed.  I've also had XP systems bluescreen on bootup.
(And, as I believe I mentioned here, immediately after displaying the
crash message, the screen would clear and it would attempt a reboot,
making it impossible to read the error message.)

Well, I've never actually _installed_ XP anywhere.  If the system didn't
come with XP, I don't install XP.
