AVG may be a free download but there is a $20-$30 'signup' fee to be paid at 
the sites before you can download the program. - There IS a 'free' older 
version but who wants an older antivirus program?

I do not see anything about updating the virus definitions on any of the 
sites. Again there is an annual or a lifetime fee to enter the site.
