In the past at T'giving time, I used to put a little pot of turkey
giblets in water on a back burner to just sit there and boil for hours
for no other purpose other than to make a good aroma around the house.
Since I was practically the only one who wanted giblets in
'everything' - gravy, dressing, whatever, I could reserve my giblet
laced tasties mostly just for myself and just let everyone else only
smell them cooking in the background.
