It isn't something you used to have available that you have lost. It is really a poor viewpoint to consider that having a service available (for free even) is inconvenient because it is maybe not as streamlined as you would like, what exactly is your alternative? > And writing a script to rename the .eml's to .txt's took all of an > hour or two, certainly less than one week's SpamCop inconvenience. > It was actually even easier than that for me to get around my ISPs limitations. Lking brought up the real issue, their efforts aren't really helping anything at all. My ISP worked perfectly fine up 'til the last couple years, and I refuse to put up with "quick and dirty" solutions that don't address the real problem, such as say, a real virus scan would, or better yet stomping on users that get infected. I wish I had changed years ago, since I found one that appears to be much better, not so sure about their support (which I rarely need), but otherwise good. Not trying to convince you to change, I'm just generally trying to get people to consider the alternatives, rather than just put up with things the way they are, or to assume that the company "knows best". -- | Ric |
