Hormel Foods (HRL), home of SPAM and canned chili, posted 15% top-line
growth in its most recent quarter, and its Jennie-O Turkey line is
padding the bottom line due to relatively cheap turkey. Recently, the
company appeared on the Reuters Select Institutional Ownership screen.
The big guys seem to know what they're doing, as Hormel's future
prospects in the form of new products, particularly through acquisition
look bright.
