For all those people who ask "I'm reporting spam using SpamCop, but
I still get spam.  Does SpamCop make any difference?" this kind of
thing is an indirect indication that yes, SpamCop does make a
difference.

If a spammer goes to the trouble of blocking SpamCop's IP addresses
specifically from doing DNS lookups, that's strong indication that
SpamCop does inflict pain on the spammers.

And if a spammer goes to the trouble of rotating spam source IP
addresses, let alone rotating DNS nameserver addresses, that
shows that DNS-based blocklists like the SCbl and so many others
as well really do cut down on the amount of spam that actually
gets delivered.

Hey, if my new weapons make the enemy spend the effort for another
round of the weapons race, then I must be doing something right.
Maybe the New Evil Empire (spammers) will collapse like the former
"Evil Empire" (Soviet Union) in the face of an escalating arms
race.
