Brilliant, thanks!  Exactly what I need.

Now, if I don't want to run a web proxy, do you know if there is a 
Firefox/XUL plugin that can do this?  This is a VERY clever little search 
and replace script!  I just don't want all my traffic to go through a local 
proxy.

I just wish SC could fix this at the server side.
