In fact, it sounds awfully, um, what's > the word again? Ah, yes, conservative. Short sited? You must be one of the sheep then. Taking an extreme. Lets say your black. The Labour party come up with the plan to expel all non-whites from the UK. Now because your family has always voted Labour, and you have always voted Labour, your neighborhood has always voted Labour, you are still going to vote Labour even though you are going to get your ass kicked out of the country? Do you ever bother to stop and look at the policies that 'they' 'claim' to be bringing to government? Do you not weigh up which one benefits you, your business or just simply which has the better effect on your life and those closest around you? Or do you bitch an moan when you find out that you voted for a massive increase in your taxes, a lowering of your pension rights, the loss of jobs to overseas? Or do you just vote one party because its easier to just stick with one rather than find out what is actually going to benefit you. That is short-sighted. That is the power of choice. The ability to choose for oneself. i.e. not to align yourself to one party for the duration of your life. No government has ever got it 100% right no matter which side of the party line they tow. If they had done, we'd all be a happy bunch of campers and wouldn't be in half the crap the world is in now. So there is nothing wrong with looking at the options which is far from short-sightedness. > > >> I have nothing to hide, I commit no wrong, but if I did, what argument >> do I have to oppose any action taken against me. > > Whatever. That was just the FBI making a huge fundamental cock up. Some one should get the ass whooped for it, safeguards put in place to make sure it doesn't happen again. A mistake against how many successes. When a mistake is made it is made public and the whole world knows. Thats the beauty of the Freeworld (think UK/US et all). In other countries, he and those around him making noise would disappear. Thats the part that helps protect us against such cockups. We only get to hear about the cockups because of that 'protection'. They can't release details of each and every success because that would jeopardize the effectiveness of future use of such methods. (Surely?).
