HIPAA should cover this. Should is the operative word, does is another matter as it seem you sign away all right to the distrubution of your data when you sign up for the coverage. | >| And I wonder how much the lawsuit against your company would be if the | >| troops found out? As to legal action ... no effective | >recourse under the law. | | That's a start. Seems the company could have been in trouble for illegal | wiretaps, etc. That is still illegal. Perhaps an agreement not to press | charges for say a 50% permanent increase in pay would be in order. How about be good and you might get to keep your job and < six months later the entire department was closed down. | | >BTW this was the same individual that managed to export restricted | >encryption equipment and algorithms that were under NSA interdiction ... | >signed my name to the export documents. That hit the fan AFTER he was out | >of the country. | | Wow. That company could be in trouble and so could you if there was | anyone actually watching the store. The only one in trouble was me for having 'signed' the export papers (which I had not done but still had to fight the accusations.)
