Rather than continue the other thread on said similar subject, thought I 
would start afresh.

So this is the Big Brother tactics.

In this case I can see the argument that some (most) made.  It is hard 
for them to justify it when nothing has been laid down in law.

I wonder how they will wriggle out of this one (apart from saying, "Who 
says No to the NSA").
