Gee, that is exactly what the average German was saying after 1929., Then
the average German except for Jews, then except for socialists, then
Gypsies, then....
..
And then people just put their heads down knowing that, there was nothing
they could do without fatal consequences, but that one day, this too would
pass, which it did, after much suffering and death, in 1945


And no, I am not making this up, I know about this from the personal
experiences of family.
