[snippage] Without seeing a tracking URL: people will have no idea what you're talking about. I occasionally receive some emails purporting to be from some mailing list I've never subscribed to, they get reported like the rest of the spam. If I can identify an actual mailing list, and if I have the time to, I'll check what their web page is, and send them a notification of the list email purporting to be from them, so they can take whatever action they want about the spammer.
