In theory this makes sense, but in practice I dont think it would work that well for spamprobe ... Spamprobe has been highly tuned with the understanding of Spam and Ham (not "Category A" and "Category B") in that it makes many decisions which favor Ham over Spam under the (very correct IMHO) assumption that its better to categorize a spam as ham then visa-versa. Even without making N>2 this theory breaks down if you use arbitrary categories. Makeing N>2 categories is even harder ... because the algorithms used collapse to a single number ...
