Wow!  I was just coming here to say the same thing.  Except I know
spamprobe has failed to classify these "new style" spams for 4+ months.

However, today I was beginning to worry that my CRM-114 scanner was
broken because its queues all appear empty.  Then I realized that in
spite of that, no spam is getting to my inbox.  Because the Spamprobe
check happens before CRM-114 on my server, if Spamprobe catches it,
CRM-114 doesn't have to.

All this means that Spamprobe is *suddenly* understanding my spam
better.  Why?

Well, maybe this is a coincidence, but last week Spamprobe (score)
stopped working.  Sometimes it worked, but every now and then a
spamprobe process would hang around -- for hours.  After poking around a
bit, I found out my hash database was not getting cleaned out in my
crontab (as recommended) and so the hash database was, presumably,
full.  When I cleaned it out, the hangs went away, spamprobe began
acting normal again.

Spamprobe did not suddenly get better at detecting spams, though.
Yesterday it still missed several dozen.  But today I've seen so few.
Did it get better?  Or is there some holiday in Russia/China/Nigeria
that I'm not aware of?  (nope -- spam volume is high today, around 550
so far, well above normal for the day.)

Would a nearly full hash database cause Spamprobe to misidentify spams?
