problem with large PBL databases

FYI - a user has reported that SP crashes when the PBL database size 
exceeds 256 MB.  At that point the PBL library splits the database into 
two files (don't know why) and SP crashes.  I'm assuming this is a PBL 
bug but have not reproduced it here to find the root cause.

Anyone using PBL should definitely clean their database periodically to 
prevent their database from growing so large.
