Can you check whether the old spamprobe binary has linked the DB library
statically or dynamically?
Just run "ldd <filename>" on your old spamprobe binary to see if the DB
library is listed there. If this is
the case, then the old spamprobe binary is using the new DB library on
your system for the export,
which might cause the problem if the DB files are incompatible. It could
also be that the old DB file is
somehow corrupted, leading to an infinite loop during the export.

Cheers,
Thomas.
