People spoofing my address

This morning I found my in-box full of notifications of failed messages which I had allegedly tried to send out. I normally get a few of these from time to time but this was exceptional - a couple of hundred at least. When this happens I mark them as spam and many of them are subsequently picked up by SP and classed as spam. Two questions: 1. Am I right to mark them as spam (i.e. will this prevent SP from recognizing _genuine_ failed messages as good?) 2. Is there any way of detecting which incoming messages are giving rise to this stuff, or will SP do so automatically with further practice?
