Problem with -8 option

Hi,

after switching to spamprobe v1.2 I noticed that the option -8 doesn't
work as expected anymore.

Spamprobe now considers at least German Umlauts (I didn't test other
non-7-bit characters) as a word separator when -8 is used. For
example, the word "schürger" is considered being two words "sch" and
"rger", instead of one word "schürger". When -8 is not used, spamprobe
considers it as "schzrger", as expected.

Am I missing something?
