Hello. I am trying to install spamprobe on my Red-Hat 8 mail server. When
I run 'make', I get the following message:

[root@kitwe spamprobe-1.2a]# make
source='AbstractMultiLineString.cc' object='AbstractMultiLineString.o'
libtool=no \
depfile='.deps/AbstractMultiLineString.Po'
tmpdepfile='.deps/AbstractMultiLineString.TPo' \
depmode=none /bin/sh ./depcomp \
g++ -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\"
-DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DPACKAGE=\"spamprobe\"
-DVERSION=\"1.2a\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1
-DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1
-DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1
-DHAVE_REGEX_H=1 -DUSE_DB=1 -DUSE_MMAP=1  -I. -I.
-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.3/include -DNDEBUG    -c -o
AbstractMultiLineString.o `test -f 'AbstractMultiLineString.cc' || echo
'./'`AbstractMultiLineString.cc
./depcomp: line 427: exec: g++: not found
make: *** [AbstractMultiLineString.o] Error 127

(the offending line 427 of depcomp is: exec "$@" )

I have reinstalled my c++ and g++ just in case that was really the problem,
but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michelle Nicoll
