Avoid what?

Avoid using NetAddr::IP?  No, unless you show me another IP address Perl 
class that (1) supports IPv6, and (2) is correct.  No, neither Net::IP nor 
Net::IPAddress cuts it.

Have you reported this to the NetAddr::IP authors?
