Your hack may still break, because supporting it is not currently a documented consideration in deciding what to publish. Say ISP C decides to phase out all use of the ISP A domain, except to forward mail from the legacy addresses to each customer's new address at ISP C's domain. Then, since no further legitimate mail is expected to bear the ISP A domain in the envelope sender, "v=spf1 -all" becomes a reasonable SPF record for that domain. ---- Michael Deutschmann <[email protected]>
