Trust me, you don't want to hear this story.  It's a sordid tale of
dust, wind, burnout, loves lost and gained, loves lost and regained,
movies made, pain, pleasure, insight, many international boundaries
crossed, and a sprinkle of central nervous system damage thrown in for
dramatic effect.
