TMDA feature idea - Statistics collection

Whilst writing my last message I just had a thought.

The collection of SPAM statistics is about as accurate and consistent as 
people making guesses.

I know that my server reject 10's of thousands of SMTP requests each day.
I know that my TMDA for my own mail box pends over 2500 a week dumping 
probably all of them after seven days.
I know my mail client filters an additional 50 a day that get through all 
of that.
I know I have to "junk" an additional 30-50 a day that get through all of that!

With so many TMDA sights installed, I'm just wondering if a module or 
feature can be added to TMDA to perhaps collect statistics that can then be 
sent, by choice, to a TMDA database?

The fight against SPAM is heavily user based.  Australia has some of the 
first SPAM laws in the world that have actually resulted in 
prosecution.  Recently tried on a Western Australia guy and his company, 
successfully.

But most spam comes from stealth mailers and trojan machines.  You can't 
really prosecute a person for installing windows on their laptop at home, 
having a DSL connection and being hacked by a work or trojan.

ISPs can't really be made responsible either.  Although more should offer 
TMDA as a solution to minimizing SPAM.  (I hear from "users" who complain 
they get over 100 spams a day to their 5-10 person messages.  You'd think 
they'd change ISP! Or at least e-mail provider.)

Anyway, if anyone is interested in this idea, voice up and lets see if we 
can work out an easy way to do it.  I'm happy to offer a delivery point and 
virtual web server, although there may be others out there with better 
resources than me, especially as I'm in a process of multiple relocations now.
