New TMDA install

Folks,

OK, I'm frustrated.  Guess I need a few tmda experts guidance. :-(.

Have installed:  Debian testing w/ Python 2.4.4, sendmail, procmail.

Not sure if my python install is hosed or not, I just get lots of
error messages from both tmda-filter and tmda-ofmipd.

So far, the docs haven't been much help, and I could figure this out
myself (or recode where necessary) if this were Perl, but with Python,
I'm reading Klingon or something.

First tried to verify the modules python is calling, one of which is
os.  This seems not to be on my system (and would account for all the
problems if os is responsible for system calls).

An example of the errors running ofmipd:

TypeError: coercing to Unicode: need string or buffer, NoneType found

tmda-filter is longer and I will post later.  Whatever is borked
above, though, is likely borking my tmda-filter as well though.

Thoughts?
