Hi all. I'd like to say a big THANKYOU to Jason M. for all he's done/doing on tmda. I have written a php script that parses the incoming log file for all messages marked as 'Actn: Confirm pending' The script then looks at a filter in the filters dir called subject_reject. For any mail in the pending que logged as 'Actn: CONFIRM pending' it will then allow the user the option of adding this subject line to the subject_reject file. So the next time tmda receives mail with a subject line matching what's been added to the subject_reject filter, this mail will be dropped (or forwarded to [email protected]) by tmda. So in theory once a subject line has been added to the subject_reject filter, it will never end up in the pending que again. Enclosed is an attachment of the subject_reject filter. If you want to add this to your TMDA, then put the following line in your incoming filter, where you block spam. # unacceptable regex matches for Subject: mail header field headers-file ~/.tmda/filters/subject_reject [email protected] ##headers-file ~/.tmda/filters/subject_reject drop As soon as I have fully tested this 'tmda-subject.php' script, I will post it on my website with the documentation, for anyone to download. Hopefully someone will be able to port it to Python, and include it as a part of tmda-pending's functionality.
