tmda-pending question

Hello, I have most all of the user configurations in my /etc/tmdarc
file (as it says you can do in the wiki).  I only have the USERNAME in
the ~/.tmda/config file.  When I try to run tmda-pending from the
shell it fails telling me that it can't find my crypt_key for the root
user.  I want to view other accounts and not the 'root' user.  How can
I setup tmda-pending or ENV's to tell tmda-pending the user I'm trying
to view?
