I haven't been to my email for a few days. The address in error is not part of the envelope; it's on the "From" line and therefore, it's part of the DATA segment. I'm using postfix and am already rejecting malformed addresses in the envelope. I'm going to dig through the TMDA code and look into Address.py, as you suggested in the post in the workers list. I'll handle such malformed addresses within that code. Once I get this working, I'll post a patch.
