This is what I do as well.  Whatever MDA you use, if you can scan things 
with SpamAssassin before TMDA, it'll flag this as a SPF failure (in this 
case) and you can route it straight to a spam folder.  In my little womb 
of qmail patches, maildrop works great for this sort of logic.
