Looks likely that your extension delimiter is set wrong somewhere.
TMDA interprets someone-confirm-13.... as a user name, rather than a
user plus an extension. I don't know about the virtual users scenario,
but you need to get the delimiter right in at least the TMDA
configuration file and the postfix configuration.
