Hi! I am using SquirrelMail for several years now as main "Mailclient". As well with my Atari environments. Some time ago I discovered a strange behavior, that maybe is a real bug. I am using an Atari compatible Hades computer (64MHz 68040CPU) with Highwire Browser ( http://highwire.atari-users.net/ ) exactly this special binary from 2008: http://www.newtosworld.de/downloads/programme/highwire-0-3-3beta9-cvs09212008-040/download All under "MiNT" Posix system, When I use SquirrelMail with Ataris, several issues are not working properly like attachements or the need of several logins. That is "normal" to such marginalized plattform like Atari. But the following could maybe even be a real "security" issue; If I resume a draft mail - and only if I resume it - at sending, the browser doesn´t react. But the mail is sended ongoing (in the backround). Up to thousands of times. The same mail again and again, just with klicking once! When I first discovered this issue, I sent 860 same mails within 5 minutes to a friend. This behavior is reproduceable! When resuming drafts, the mail is permanently sended. This is going on until I close the connection in one or other way (like quitting the browser, ... ). When I write a new mail, or answer to a mail, everything works well, and the mail is sended exactly once as should should be. Of course nobody can expect that you take care about a small community, but it looks strange to me that a outdated browser can cause such a behavior. Maybe this information is helpful to you developers? As I am no developer, I also cannot know where the problem is exactly located. Maybe it is not connected to SquirrelMail? But I wanted to let you know about it. I am not the Server Admin, but the Server runs: SquirrelMail/1.4.15 Exim 4.69 Apache 2.2 PHP 5.2 under Debian. If you would like to investigate yourselve, you could try Afros (Aranym) virtual machine at your PCs with Debian, to maybe reproduce this behavior as well. best regards Mathias P.S. if you have any better idea where to report this, please just tell me. -- NEU: FreePhone - kostenlos mobil telefonieren und surfen!
