I know of at least two (and I'm sure there're more) ISPs who use SquirrelMail as the webmail client for their customers. It's perhaps not unreasonable for those corporate bodies to pay for the privilege. There may be another option. That is, supply SquirrelMail "as is" under the current licence arrangements to all, but create an "added value" service of support and customisation - professional services - to corporate clients for which there would be a charge. Those clients wouldn't pay for the software, they'd pay for a support contract.
