Change Asetukset -> Näyttöasetukset -> Kieli setting in user preferences.

Options -> Display Preferences -> Language in English.

Asetukset is one of the links in top webmail menu.

If you don't see this user setting in your webmail, reconfigure SquirrelMail
with conf.pl utility and disable forced_prefs plugin or show list of all
enabled plugins. See more information about conf.pl at
http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/admin/admin-5.html

Set default language to 'en_US' or 'en' without quotes in conf.pl 10.
Language options.

Please note that SquirrelMail scripts are open and your installer could
remove other languages from scripts. Then you will have to restore original
scripts.
