permissions key next to folders

We are trying to upgrade from sqwebmail 3.5 ish (can't remember exactly). 
We loaded 4.0.7 on a test box and noticed it has these permission keys
next to each folder.  How do we get rid of those?

Also how do we get rid of the global address book with bigfoot infospace
etc?  We are wanting a simple email web interface.  No frills with maybe
the exception of changing password.
