configure --with-authvchkpw

Hello List,

I have vpopmail running fine. I'm now trying to install sqWebmail.
I'm trying to compile sqWebmail with --with-authvchkpw parameter to use 
vpopmail/vchkpw as authentication

#./configure  --with-authvchkpw --with-redhat

But when I try to authenticate, I get this error message:
authdaemon: s_connect() failed: Connection refused

Please advise what am I doing wrong.
