sqwebmail, ispell and umlaut problem

hi,
I installed sqwebmail 5.0.0 with ispell on Linux (with qmail, vpopmail=20=

etc). I use german templates from http://www.4e4.de/internet.html (the=20=

4.0.7 work fine on 5.0.0).
I used ISPELLDICT with german, deutsch, swiss but there is always the=20
same problem, words with umlauts (=E4=F6=FC) are not recognized by =
ispell=20
within sqwebmail and the proposed words have strange umlauts like u"=20
for =FC. I tried to use ISPELLDICT with something like german -T latin1=20=

(on the keyboard everything works fine with ispell -d german -T=20
latin1). That didnt help in sqwebmail but the mail encoding changed=20
from utf-8 to latin1... so has anybody solved this, or knows that there=20=

is no solution or do I have to dig in deeper in the code and ispell=20
etc.
