I figured out how to set permissions via the terminal And its not
that...

I ran this command in the terminal 
chmod +rwx "/home/chris/1.Christophers Mail/"

And then tried to download some email from an account that's not
important and the emails are still not landing in the inbox. They are
no where to be found.
