An improved description for the package tracker[1] could be

«Fast, lightweight and user-friendly GTK+ based email client»

because

+ CM explicitly states «The 4.x.x releases are built with GTK+ 3, the
3.x.x releases are built with GTK+ 2.»[2]. The joint release notice
for CM 3.18.0/4.0.0 by July 10th, 2021[3] doesn't urge to transition
quickly to the branch GTK+3 now (similar to the scheduled «end of
life» for development for Python2 to Python3 some years ago), but
  reads more like an invite.

+ Debian's tracker equally lists the versions for currently unstable
and testing of Debian 12/bookworm, and currently stable Debian
11/bullseye elder. (By now, Debian 11.2 only is about 2 months
  old.)

Norwid
