Personally, I think the benefit (if any) is not worth the effort of the change. But if you want to submit a patch, we can consider it. You aim is to simplify the usage of gpg, as you think this will lead to more people using it. I always found it simple to use anyway. It seems that understanding the basic concept is the hurdle some people struggle with, and removing 2 or 3 mouse clicks won't help that. Do you think people should use it completely blind, and not understand even the basics of what they are doing? with regards Paul
