I looked at the stuff available from >debian to answer your question. How about an "elsewhere" list for finding dependencies? I was going nuts trying to compile CM for the FIRST time on a brand new system. Got all the usual dependencies; but finding the right package that provided EXTERN.h was sheer hell... Just noticing the missing EXTERN.h was painful among the long list of deprecated messages. Finally found and installed perl-devel and success... but too late to see Ron's request for how to copy a directory structure only.
