Thorsten, thanks a lot for the new build, I'm sorry I couldn't test them earlier but I have been pretty busy. Anyway, this is what I've found; 1)gdb crashes when I try to access the inbox (on win 95): this is the log for gdb and the sylpheed log -----------Begin GDB------------- GDB caused an invalid page fault in module GDB.EXE at 0217:0040aaf8. Registers: EAX=015b2c44 CS=0217 EIP=0040aaf8 EFLGS=00010216 EBX=015b2c44 SS=021f ESP=008ef110 EBP=008ef118 ECX=00a30100 DS=021f ESI=00000000 FS=4b7f EDX=74fc1000 ES=021f EDI=00000000 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 83 d0 40 00 00 85 c0 0f 85 3a 01 00 00 8b 43 Stack dump: 00a313a0 00000000 008ef138 00469591 015b2c44 00000000 008ef158 0046d8be 008ef220 00000000 008ef158 00402d0f 00000000 008ef188 008ef168 0040cd90 ---------Begin sylpheed.log----------- [22:18:55] * message: creating IMAP4 connection to mail.physics.purdue.edu:993 ... ---------------------------------------- Unfortunately I haven't found any way to copy the messages in the dos box. 2) If I run the sylpheed executables instead, I can access the inbox but I can still reproduce the bug where I can't access any folder in the structure that has not been created by sylpheed. If it helps, the log is attached as gzip file. Again, thank you very much for these new builds, I'm really sorry this crash report is not too useful Fabio
